Removing windshield...

    Yeah so cut it about 5 inches with some old guitar wire, but it kept breaking the wire....

    So then I ripped the throttle cable out of the parts car and used it to cut...I got it maybe another 2 inches then *crack*, put a little too much force in one spot I guess and she spiderwebbed! Oh well....the windsheild was free the car paid for itself in parts by now anyway... I found someone who will put a brand new one in for 200 so that's not bad...

    I know this is offtopic but the rubber around my windshield is all raza style (corners are silver) is this needed? or can I just pop them off?

    If you remove it your windshield will probably leak...it's held in by plastic clips which are glued right into the windshield glue....so my suggestion is just mask off the surrounding area...and paint them....

    haha ya I bent a side of the metal upward after posting and decided no way in hell I was going to take it off then bent it back... dunno why I didnt think about paint as im practically stock piling it now nowadays, thanks.

    Mine are off my car and black duct tape is in its place....you can't really see from far away but i need to get the windsheild replaced....

    I got it priced for $200 and that includes a fade on it! ooOoo haha
