i do plan to do some rebuilding to it, i want to put a hi-flow exaust manifold on it. and i got to find a new intercooler tank cause as you can see it has taken a bit of wear the stock trannie and transfer case are useless to me because i hope to mate a s-54 trannie to it to mate to my car. but before that can move forward i need to track down a bargian harness and ecu for that engine. and since this is a jdm engine im gonna need to put a bigger cat on her to make it emmisions legal

yeah the etest is the thing that has me worried, but at the rate of progression im going with this car by the time i do go get my e-test we will all be driving hover cars and eating dehydrogonated turkey pills

i want to put her on the road, aside from the body having more than it share of cancer, and the total lack of parts, this could work. this project has stalled untill i get the proper harness and ecu.

well its been a long while since i updated this beast...not a whole lot has changed with the chassis itself, i am finding pinouts for my mr2 ecu to try and splice the 185 harness into it. the 3s-gte engine has the more part of its harness intact (plugs) it was cut right under the fuel rail so its going to be a long process to colour code and re-fit the wires. pics will be added shortly. i manged to get the trannie and transfer case off my engine. it was a very cold process lol i also removed the stock intercooler and put it in the for sale box lol as with the trans

ask and you shal recive, sorry about the wait ppl. i have been very busy with college and other stuff. needless to say project half life is cut into very many pieces and sitting in a junk yard, ill spare you the gruesome pics of that (unless someone really wants to see a celi go against a sawzall lmfao) but here are some of the discoverys i made with this car. photo bucket kept messing up when i tried to resize them, so enjoy large pics ahahaha....
here goes: *keep in mind, i made most of these discoverys with a screwdriver and a hammer* no "sledgeing it" to find crap, most of this fell out lol...*

i later found out this car had been crashed at some point in its life, nothing on it lined up, the actuall core support was seaperated from the frame rails. the floors were bent up ( like an arch) indicating it had been jumped. the car had been lowerd..(in a very stupid way,) camber had not been adusted to compensate for the lowering, thus both front wheel bearings were fucked, and the tires are useless due to the inner wear from wrong camber. i dont know what was up with the round "patch panel" fuel door, it wouldt even fit a stock fuel cap, i must say, whoever had the bodywork done must have spent like atlaest a grand in bondo and paint, (a very bad paintjob i might add, lots of over spray and orange peal, quality paint though,) these are only some of the pics of the shit i found in this car, i have over 250, pics of the damage ive found, but since im not looking for a board war (and cause posting the pics takes for fucking ever...) or anything like that, i just posted my "picks" if you will. i am doing this simply to back up my post, nothing else. i am not pointing fingers at anyone, i have no i dea when this work was done, or by who. at some point, some time, this car was fucked. ive made sure that car wont be seen again.. so this is the end for the original project gt-s, but as my personall rule states, "never let one go without one to replace it...." st-165-2765, was kind enough to give me his old gts, you may remember her, that lumber carring beast...ahaha im pretty sure there is a pic here somewhere of it. i went and picked it up in quebec, dragged it home and now the new project is under way, new thread and pics up shortly..
