what: forged aluminum where: any performance place why: because the factory cast pistons melt at 400hp
You want forged pistons. Many places make them. Wiseco, J&E, Arias, Toda racing, CP... Any others I have forgotten. They're lighter than stock and they can withstand more abuse.
you can use Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MR2-...tegoryZ33623QQihZ016QQitemZ260104490971QQrdZ1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYO...tegoryZ33623QQihZ016QQitemZ260104490109QQrdZ1 Those are just some examples. When looking on ebay type in 3sgte into search. Seems to work the best for me.
i hope your kidding.... Ebay is great for non moving items only. I know that its illegal to sell faulty items on ebay but items on ebay arn't ment to last.
They usually cut corners somewhere to not spend as much money to make them. In turn it costs less to make it, then they can sell it for less and still make the same profit.
just research what you buy that's all. there are a lot of honest people out there that don't rip you off. for those that are affraid of ebay, they can always pay retail.
To zak, yes I'm very serious. Those are Arias pistons and Eagle rods with ARP rod bolts. Thats an exceptional set for most people and at a very nice price. If you wish not to buy off of Ebay thats fine, but you're missing out on the great price. I have bought many things off of Ebay and will continue to.
hey, i have an ebay account that i use ALOT. I've even sold and bought a car on it. I trust ebay, its just that along with the good experiances, theres are horrible ones. If its too good to be true, it probobly is, but if you research enough, and get good results, i would buy them too. Try to find previous buyers and see what they have to say.
I definately agree. I bought my car on ebay and I just found my JDM engine setup. You just have to know what your looking at. Theres ALOT of knockoffs and trash out there.
