it was discussed a while back. so i thought i'd bring it back up. im gonna get one. for the people who dont know what it is or does. it basically catches the oil that comes from the valve cover to the intake manifold and keeps the engine running cleaner and such. the experts can elaborate on this more. but here were some that caught my attention. all found on ebay btw

-ive been looking for one aswell but am having a hard time finding one i like with baffles or some type of screen.

-should be able to make a bracket to go from under the air box, or where the charcoal can used to be.

so, to make sure i know what im gonna do when im gonna do it. the line that it connects to is the line coming from the valve cover to the throttle body, correct?

kev man. you have an fe you will definately have room for a catch can somewhere. if a turbo engine bay can fit one theres definately room in your NA bay.
post up a pic or PM me a pic and il help you descide

awesome! i'll get picture tomorrow for ya. its just that yours is rhd drive so you have more room to fit in on the left. its not like mine. i have the brake/ clutch lines in the mix along with the brake master cylinder. not only that, but i have the strut bar as well! :eek:hnoes you have to see it to believe it.

i also took some measurements too. i even make a mock-up of the obx catch can [the first picture] to the dimensions they provided on ebay and it was too big. and its the smallest one as well.

on a side note, how the heck did you get your MAP or MAF sensor so clean? respray?

Looks like there's room for it under the strut bar at the left. Just move a couple things?

yea, the most i can it is an actual can. a soda can that is. and they dont make them that small. also, it'll sit right up against the strut car too

Next to the power steering reservoir there should be enough room. You'd have to run the lines across the bay, but thats the easiest place I could see.

well as stated theres room between the PS reservoir and the overflow bottle (not ideal location)
lots of room above the starter. just make up a bracket and it would be a good location
also looks to be room on the pass. side firewall next to the windscreen wiper motor and A/C valve ( i think thats what it is) behind the strut brace.
    hope that helps!
just remember they dont weigh alot so making brackets is easy just using some straight piece of alloy 2-3mm thick and bend it as required
