So its coming time to get new tires and I would like some advice. 205-60 for a 14 inch rim are becoming harder to come by and apparently they dont make any good ones that size any more. So Ive got some options to lay out,

1.Go down to 185-65 for my 14 inch rims: $473
2.Go up to 15 inch rims (Want Drag DR-34's)and get tires that will fit: $895.62
3.Look for 7th gen celica wheels: Cant find any... :(
    4. Any other options you all can come up with :D

Let me know what your take is below!

Will check them both out! Yea I agree Drags look great! But $800+ dollars is alot of dough for a college student. Im hoping if I have to get smaller tires for the 14s I have, that they wont be drastically smaller. Also the GTS has the five lug instead of four.

I must have clicked the wrong link for the website.... oops... I like the wheels! What would be the best dimensions if I did get 15's (15X6, 15X7, etc?)

Im thinking I may just go with a smaller tire size for the 14" American Racings I already have. It would be cheaper than buying new rims, and I still have plenty to choose from!

This might just be your lucky day, got a line on a killer deal for wheels and tires! This is the same guy that runs Four By 100 Wheels and this is the link.....http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43755

Better hurry, this is too good to pass up, it's Panasports after all, wheel alone worth the price!!

Just found some scion TC rims with tires that re in good shape! Will they fit? I know Ill probably need spacers in the back

they will fit, only problem would be rubbing on the rear strut housing. the rears you can put a 5mm spacer safely to bring it back from +45 offset to +40 offset. but to be completely safe, 10mm spacer with extended studs.
205/40/17 tires is what you want but everything else works out. 5x100 pattern and 54.1mm hub bore is perfect

btw, by "completely safe" i meant safe as in the wheel won't fall off, not safe as in it won't rub.

i've done 5mm spacers before on stock studs, but i was always worried about the fact that it was only maybe 4 full turns of the nut on the stud.

Well the TC rims fell through, but I did find someone with 16 inc 7th gen wheels with tires.

The rims are in good shape, and the tires have about 60% tread life left (or so he says) They are Hankook Ventus HR II's and are 205/50/16 and Are unidirectional (someone explain this to me) from what Ive read on the internet. He's asking $290 for all 4 plus tires. Think its a good deal? Also I think i would need to run 25mm spacers on the rear? (Someone correct me if Im wrong)

you shouldn't need to run spacers with 205/45/16, so these may rub ever so slightly, if at all.

unidirectional means you can only mount them on your car a certain way (the tire will say "rotation ->>>" on the sidewall). most summer tires are like this

Well the wheel wasnt fitting properly so we checked the hub and the diameter of the wheel is smaller than the hub. So now I have two choices, Go to a machine shop and machine the wheels to fit or get spacers. Can someone tell me what spacer I will need to run? I can get dimensions for the center wheels bore and the hub if needed.
