Im not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a brand for an 89 GT-S without ABS?
top of the pile would be Brembo, with Centric being a close 2nd. you can check the following websites for the actual parts and prices: tirerack.com rockauto.com ajusa.com buybrakes.com though, i not believe that the rotor has any impact on the ABS/Non-ABS. last i recall, the ABS is determined by a ring that is not connected to the rotor - at least that is how the ST165 is setup.
ABS rotors are 255mm while non-ABS are 258mm and if I remember correctly the ABS rotor is 25mm thick, non-ABS 22mm. I'll double check but these numbers seem to hit me as correct. Sorry for the late reply! Thanks racerb! Any chance of giving me the specs of the rear W/O ABS? RockAuto doesnt specify on the rear if they do or dont have ABS
Rears are all the same 269mm diameter by 10mm thick, although in my case I'm most likely going to order the cross drilled rears for better cooling on track. Those are listed on Rock Auto at the very bottom of the page under High Performance.
