Hey everyone, new to the site. I just picked up my first car, an 89 gts. Its in good condition for its age. Payed 2200 for it cert and e-test. Had about 1k worth of work done to it while getting cert, new exhaust system, breaks, o2 sensor and fuel lines. Everything seems to be working good, I havnt had a chance to get it on the road much tho, I am away at school. One problem that i know of is the fuel guage stoped working between my test drive and when i got the car delivered. I think it might have something to do with the gas line work. It idles fine, but if u rev it when its cold it squeels, I believe this goes away after a minute or two of running. got stock 3sge w/214k. What kind of gain (hp/MPG) would i expect with a K&N filter? and other easy mods to boost the hp/mpg? Body is in really nice shape, only a bit of rust on the underbody rest is clean.
