New discs are a bit bigger ... and combined with the ST185 carlos sainz big single pod calipers and the steel brakelines will stop me a bit faster :)

thanks :) No it's from my mechanic who was with me in the UK. He rents it with a friend of his and has done about 5 3s-gte swaps and 4 other brand swaps the last 2 years so the experience is present. Besides that I have all the wiring from the original car which I'm building into lone wolf so no problems are to be expected with that point. :)

Roy, I know I've told you before.....but I have to tell you once more that I really love your car. There are only a handful of ST162s that I can say that about and yours is one of them.....good job on all the work you've put into it!

will u try to source a mr2 tarboooo :science or st202 gt-s gearbox with LSD for your 3sgte project or use just stock celica gearbox ?

I use the stock gearbox and have a Supra CT26 single entry turbo. That seems to be a bit more efficient but we'll see :).

Costs is not easy to calculate, I now spent some 700 euro's so far, but remember I allready had a block and all the wiring laying around. Same as the brakelines and stuff. I think I'll end up between 1000 and 1500 euro's in the end.

Still looking for a BOV by the way.

went to the car today and cleaned the engine bay as far as possible. Started with the dash removal so I can swap all cabling.

well, what I mean is, did anybody change the mechanical positioning of the starter at the transmission as my early 86 has it on the other side as all others do...
