Dude how fast is your half trac ...i ask everyone this ..I just like other people opinions

Mine with a baddly slipping clutch ran 6.9 secs to 60 and 18 secs to 100mph, qtr was 15.5.

Without slipping clutch and my new steel HG and the boost upped on my Hybrid tubby I am hopping for 250bhp and 0 -60 time in the 5 secs and qtr mile in high 13secs.

my god are you kidding me, you need launching practice big time. i was spinning through 3rd gear and still had a 2.6 60' and 13.76 quater.

Hence slipping clutch...I could not even go above stock boost!!

Plus my car is not really built for qtrs, ton load of ICE in the boot, plus its too nice to strip out, and save the kgs

And stock figures for a 165 are 7.7 secs to 60 and 15.9 sec qtr.

Dont forget that it weights damn near 1600kgs loaded, mine with gentle mods was only putting out 210bhp, even being brutal with launches, thats never ever going to get into 13s

210bhp in a fwd st162 is a whole diff ball game thou.

And I can lauch a car, got a 105bhp 1975 mini to run a 14.8!! was never the same again thou

Couple of fellow 165ivers over here have run high 12s but with lots of mods, and stripped cars. imo these cars are just not built for qtrs

lol i ran a 13.76 at over 340 crank HP and NOS...like i said i spun all the way through 3rd gear and i was on street tires at 30psi. i was curious to see what i was running street tune.

as it turns out that will be the last number that chassis will ever see. the new one should run low 13's high 12's if i've done everything right. it may be faster since i'm changing so much and making the car lighter.

on that note can anyone get 1/2" think 4" wide aluminum stock? i need 2 4' sections. and square aluminum stock, i need 2" thick by 4" wide and 2 4' sections. anybody?

now i see why you ran those times sidewayz. lots of ICE= lots of weight. plus being more street car i would assume?

Mafix, that sounds like one wild ride!!!, yeah my car is much more street!!

I have full exhaust, dp, blitz and boost controler with a fcd, I have a hybrid, but until the surporting mods go in, ie new head with porting, steel HG, water INj, custom charge cooler rad, and ebc, I only run 10psi, which is nothing at all!!

All money and time, will you keep the same motor for your new build, or are u going from scratch again?
