Those seats are just perfect ! Love the colour !

You posted some photos of a Celica meet on the Members Celica thread, when was that meet ? It's great that you had 8 Celicas of the same shape. You have a strong following in Portugal, must be great that you can get together. Do you do it every year ?

    Thanks Marten

Probably mine also said "GT-I 16", but after painting the car as only found the stickers JDM version "2.0 GT-R", I copied them. :D

To stay equal to the JDM version, I'll try to find the twincam badges in the future. :peace

    Thanks Steve,

There is a Celica meet in Portugal every year. (for all generations, not just 4gen).

Soon I'll make a video of the meeting and then I post here. :p

Yes Steve it's a sad fact that our numbers are dropping faster every year. I haven't seen any in the yards here in the last 2 years, which is even more worrying.
If we did a survey of members still active it would probably show 3/4 are no longer with us.

MRocha - Your car looks awesome, obviously it is your pride and joy!
For me the gen4 seats just don't have enough lumbar or lateral support, yours look awesome and I might do the same with the gen5 seats, but I'd embroider "CELICA" on them like on some gen6 seats

Keep up the great work, I nominate you for this month's ROTM

Seems to have been a good meeting 4gen.

Thanks Stig, yes it's true, he is my pride and joy!

I think they have enough lumbar and lateral support for a normal sporty production car. For me the seats of the 4th gen are the more nice of all Celicas, except 7Gen.

    It's an honor :D

    Continuing ...

The trunk is already assembled. I also installed the sound system. (amplifier and subwoofer).

The spare wheel has been replaced by the amplifier. :lol

    That's not very practical?
What's the point of a boot if you can't use it?, the Celi has a massive boot for a car this size.
Why not hide it somewhere like I did?

That's a very neat job on the boot carpet. Is it a new one or you just cleaned up the old one ?

If you're not planning on putting much stuff in the boot then limited boot space is fine. As Stig says, it is a massive boot.

The interior of your car looks amazing (The re-trimming in particular). It's very similar to the kind of style I have in mind for my car. Really great effort!

    That's one hell of a sub. :D

I also thought put the amp in this place, but when it rains, the seatbelt gets wet. The water enters through glass. I have to fix this problem first. anyway, I had already removed the spare wheel, so that space was empty.

I just cleaned up the old one.

The boot has enough space, but I want to get a smaller sub to put in the same place the amp for saving more space. :p

    Upgraded…
I bought a front speakers JBL (10Cm diameter), to replace old ones:

I tried to restore the old speakers, but unsuccessfully.

The original speakers are 8 cm of diameter, and It’s difficult to find this size. I had to cut a little bit the box to install the new speakers.

You've done well to make it fit, does it sound good ?

It sounds very good. Now the car stereo system has more quality than my home surround system. :rofl
