Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S ha ha thats funny! Ha ha dude that would be interesting to see ha ha it was! and i liked it! and just 5 cars,
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S That 1st pic of the Celica looks fantastic, bar the registration plate, ruins the look. A black Celica does look very mean indeed. Hope you wiped the fingerprints off the doorframe after that girl was touching it, tell her to put her hands somewhere else   !!!!
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S thanks dude and yeah i can photoshop that out, and ha ha i did, and she looked at me funny and left lol
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S I hope it was all in good faith , when she looked at you funny, we should"nt take it too seriously. I went to a car show where an owner was showing his Porsche 924. I asked him if I could sit in it, but he said no one is allowed but him! I didn"t like that atitude, afterall why show your car in the first place? I always let people sit in mine, in fact I feel honoured that they take an interest. I then approached a 944 owner, who was completely different, offering me to sit inside, he even invited me to one of his Porsche meetings.
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S yeah i told her i was joking later shes quite nice and yeah i had like 30 people in my passenger seat showing off my sub woofer lol the funnest thing is when it hits the first deep note and the whole car vibrates and their eyes get as big as softballs ha ha! and dude thats awesome i like the 944's lol
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S I remember my days of playing about with sound systems. I had a pair of sunvisor speakers which I"ve still got, they must be 20 years old as well! Nowadays I don"t bother with sounds, the standard Toyota unit is perfect.
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S UPDATE i wrecked my celica viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5049&p=62637#p62637 stay tuned for the repair,
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S Update: the day before the crash i installed some city lights in amber into my headlights, and went to the scrap yard where i found some neet things. here are the pics got two of these off of a 1978 celica in the junk yard think i may modify them to make a rear car badge picked up this from a 1984 celica undamaged front grill and now the city lights
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S You don"t dawdle do you Matt, full steam ahead, get things done on the Celica. What about your homework hehe I guess that"s 2nd on the priority list
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S ha ha well im on holiday brake right now so i have a little time to tinker with her
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S Update 12/22/09 did some body work today with some bondo, and my good old trusty hammer! here are the ghetto results, the main goal from today was to seal a hole from under the tail light into the hatchback so the snow wont pass through it, fine sanding will be done soon, the whole and the dent pounded out as best i could, and sanded for bondo hole filled with bondo bent rim, and will get the rim repaired friend welding shut the holes under the car tail light that i couldnt reach with bondo. the vew from my garage today, truck= dads broken starter and working on replacing it so i can drive it until i get the celica's front end fixed geo= friends repairing his exhaust and of course celica= repairing the oil pan in that shot.
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S Thats a good pic, the last one. Sounds like you got your own little business there. Ever thought about that young Matt, setting up your own garage ? You"ve definitely got the enthusiasm for tinkering with cars, so why not make money from it.
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S yeah 3 cars all getting fixed at one time by 2 guys actually makes some progress! and ive considered it if i decide to ill pay to go through business school and if so id open a shop, specialty in old toyota repair
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S  Why not, me/you do a joint venture, we could have a premises where you fix/repair cars, and I"ll detail them
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S dude that would be sick! we would make some money! lol your detailing is phonominal and i have a nack for making things work when they shouldnt ha ha!
Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S Make loads of dollars to spend on our Celicas fingersx I"d think I like to be in your country, nice big roads, nice big houses with massive garages. Can you work out how much in UK money, say your house would cost. Mine is a 4 bedroom, detached, double garaged. Cost me £335,000, if I sold it now, might get £420, 000.
