    im thinking maybe some of us could work out a mid west and west coast meet some time in the summer or something.

    hell yea man! lol it would be more of a national meet. maybe like 20+ 162 from this site if they are willing. :D

    oh ssshit yea.. lol
    thats pretty much out of the question for me. lol
    maybe to CO is the max for me. dont know how strong my motor will be to make it up and over the mountains.

    yeah ditto, and i think she could, just dont push her ha ha! i learned that the hard way this weekend over heated, my thermostat was stuck shut, replaced that but im worried i caused some head gasket damage, shes puffing little bits of white smoke now under heavy throttle, idk if she did it before but hope i dont blow my head gasket.... sad5

    If you wrecked the gasket you'd have:
    Boiling over or using water or milky water/oil ?

    Haven't had any of thoughts symptoms i think it could be the valve seals, and there seems to be a ton of condensation in the muffler tip, and some blue/white smoke when i lift off the throttle.

    oh damn.... i think it may be the valve clearances the smoking stops once the engine warms up, or is driven some so im confued...

    if it was valves it would always be smoking because the oil would get thinner... it could be rings?? :cry:

    right that would make sense, maybe the rings... idk its not serious yet *knock on wood* but if it gets worse ill let you know. ohnoes

    i hate when engines give in .... you can never trust them again after!!! :sad:

    ha ha i know but its partly dude to the smoke just stopping, its toying with me some lol crazy :bounce:

    Yeah rings, you shouldn't rev/drive it when it's cold

    A car that has good rings & seals will have clean oil for a long time, bet yours is black
