Magnetic oil drain plug

    I found this on eBay, but I don't know if it will fit a 3SGE:

    What do you guys think?

    good luck theres 2 or 3 different sized sump plugs on the 3s motors. dunno which is wich. ive seen all sorts of different combos

    lol. could always just measure your sump plug and contact the seller

    The magnetic plug looks to be a nice addition. I'd love to see how much metal my car is chewing lol

    honestly the only thing these will tell you is it's rebuild time.
    bearings in these are ALU. non magnetic. pistons and rods are ALU. non magnetic.
    if there is a signifigant amount of metal on the magnetic plug, your motor is in dire need.

    the only reason i have one is it came as part of the new oil pan.
