Thanks very much,it's been a long time in the making and there's a lot of people in the Celica community in the UK that have all contributed to it,it would be wrong for me to say I've done absolutely everything myself though I have put in a LOT of my own hours/money since 2009!Worth it though

Thats right,st162.net is a large worldwide community so its difficult to ever see anyone in person! I do however get to see the people on celicaclub.co.uk a lot,so its nice to put a face to a name if you know what i mean.I've had a lot of useful info from both sites, this one in particular for the very technical stuff.

Havent done a major amount to the car, which i suppose is a good thing,it means its running happily! It does actually really fly along once it hits over 4000RPM with this engine fitted.Took her out in almost Spring sunshine yesterday with a friend who has an Integra DC5.We have a lot of fun on the twisty roads in the English countryside, its what i built the car for really and screaming along the straights and flat bends in the sun with the coilovers set nice and stiff, and my mates 'Teg steaming up from behind is a right buzz.Few pics.

Car has now gone in for some rust repair, had a blister come up on the bottom rear quarter so no messing about, having a small repair panel put in and the rust cut out so it cant spread.Treating it is alright for a while but as we know it always comes back. While its in there he's going to take back both complete sides of the car,and respray it ,also repainting bonnet and headlamp covers .I've been battling a patch of corrosion just under the rear tailgate trim where the rear wiper sits,so the rear spoiler panel will come off and thats being remedied as well.so the decals will be gone, but should look rather nice with fresh 3E5 paintwork. The roof and sunroof were done not that long ago and still looks minty so no need to do quite the whole car!

Car is back, and looking good.Rust repairs all done,so hopefully fend off the tinworm for a while although as we know it always appears somewhere else at some point!Took it to Japfest show at Silverstone race circuit yesterday with the Celicaclub. Some pics, hope you like the shiny paint!

Yeah... I'd hate to see you comin up behind me at a high rate of speed with your lights flashing. My ol' G motor would be shittin' & getttin' (out of your way haha)

Got a nice look the back end of your car,we dont see them over here, its only the 'Vert thats similar.
And yes to be fair moving over to let my car past would be a sensible choice Vic LOL ;)

Ha,I think your car holds its own Steve, especially as you have a lot of original paint!
As Steve already knows,I took the car back to the paintshop as when i was waxing it i noticed a few blemishes that had been missed,so a couple of hours with the rotary polisher and all was good again.

Hello thesherv, what kind of bleach did you use to clean rust?
