Yeah, couldn't get online yesterday. Thanks guys. :D

Car runs great, stereo sounds awesome (600+ watts. I'm going to sell some of it, the subwoofers take up far too much cargo space for my liking, and it seems to make the car sluggish. Interior is insanely well kept. top of the dash is faded, and the steering wheel was violated by a cover, but other than that it's immaculate. I even have cup-holders! The paint is in great shape, just needs some small rock chips touched up. Tail-lights need replaced, both have some cracks, but nothing bad. It also has an aftermarket moon-roof installed. Seems to be very well done, no leaks or wind noise from it. Engine bay is super clean, so is the under-carriage, although there is a patch of rust on the drivers side floorboard that will need to be taken care of at some point. I can't upload pictures from school, so I'll try to get over to the public library in the next week or so.

Willy wasn't kidding when he said GTS transmissions are unforgiving. I felt like I was 14 years old again, lol. I also think there may be something up with the fuel system, because you really have to floor the gas to get it to stop hesitating and jerking at low speed. Or I'm just not used to this motor, but I really don't think that's the problem. It's pretty bad, I have to just accelerate like a motherfucker or the car hates me. Is there something wrong, or am I just not used to driving a GTS?

ya it shouldnt hesitate or jerk, unless your going like 40 then let off teh gas in first then the revs might jump it a bit

should be smooth though keep us posted, congrats on the buy

good stuff, but I find my celca extremly nice to drive. Once I got past forgetting about the 4th gear synchro being scrrewed its usauly as smooth as silk.

My gt-s will accelerate if I let off the clutch slowly and don't give any gas at all....

That's what I thought it should be like. I think the injectors are dirty as hell, probably the fuel filter too. I'll run some cleaner through it today, hopefully that will help enough until I can scratch up the money to get them actually cleaned/replaced. The drivers side axel is a higher priority though. Every time I take a turn it sounds like a geiger counter being taken through Chernobyl. Even driving straight I can here a thumpthumpthump noise, and it's not from the subwoofers.

When was the last time a tune-up was done? That may solve your acceleration problem

Probably a while. The car was meticulously maintained until about a year ago, when it was given to the guys son.
