I have no clue. I have yet to drive it. Yes it is just a tad shorter. When lowering a vehicle, I have seen that it is recomended to also drop the end links for alignment/handling reasons. Technically? I don't know. The suspension parts I installed (coilovers, end links, sway bar, bushings for all that stuff) all came from a 90-93 GT/GTS. Just some food for thought. This is the bar. http://stsuspensions-store.com/products ... 51777.html
I ended up ditching the sway bar. I sold it to a guy who can use it on his 5th gen. I didn't want to deal with fucking around and making spacers. I'll reinstall the stock bar for now and upgrade at a later date. I did however..just go on another shopping spree.
Besides the insane angles of the endlinks, nothing. I didn't want to risk snapping anything off so I just ditched the bar and went stock.
Willie you're absolutely spot on there, I really do love my tea. All the car shows I attend, I'm always armed with a flask of tea !
Yeah I'm totally thrilled that it fired up on the 2nd try. First attempt the day before didn't go so well. Here's the first try.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVbMcNIrd0E After I cut the video I pulled the #2 plug and it was dry (no fuel to the cylinder). I pulled the fuel hose that ran from the filter --> rail and cranked it (no fuel came out). Pulled the feed line from the pump underneath the car at the tank and cranked it (no fuel came out). I could hear the pump kicking on/off. I was at a loss. Ended up dropping the tank and pulling the pump to bench test it. Turns out the wiring on the pump was wrong. The plug that came with it was reversed (red was on the right, black on the left). It should of been the other way around. I fixed this, reinstalled everything and then it fired up. I think I set a record though..just about an hour to remove, fix and then reinstall the fuel tank that was half full. There are just a few more bits & pieces before I drive it. Obviously exhaust (but I love how it sounds right off the cat). Need to get the aftermarket oil pressure working (need some adapters to reroute the sending unit). Bleed air from radiator/power steering. New wheel studs/nuts where necessary. New pads/rotors. Alignment. Need a tach adapter still. Also gotta figure out the idle/bov/boost gauge. The boost gauge seems to run a bit slow.
I could feel your fustration towards the end of the film. It sounded so promising at the start of the engine. Fortunately you had the patient to work out it was only a small problem.
You think that sounds great, wait until I get the video taken today. She now has a 3" turbo back/cat back exhaust with a Magnaflow street series muffler. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL3nZiiTC6I
