I found a car at the pullapart which has the key in the ignition. It turns really well as opposed to the one in my project Celica even after using graphite in it.

So I've removed all the electronics from it to expose only the metal support and lock cylinder, but how do I get it out?? There's a cross shape on the right .. Am I to pry that out?

you have to turn the key to the "ACC" position...then there should be a little hole that will have a pin in it....push the pin in and pull the ignition cylinder out.
