How much power really in exhaust ...(3sge)

stock is 1.75 i ran 2.25, all i can say is if u dont get a cat, get a resonator and a nice quietening muffler

 

With an Exhaust upgrade all your really doing is helping the exhaust heat move faster away from the engine compartment-

So dont expect major 100 hp gains- i say 4-7 If that!!!
And tips are just for sound purposes!!

Run a lower grade of gas, it might be detonating but not all of it burning..

 

haha when i didnt have a resonator i got so many dirty looks from bikers, then teh resonator burnt out(or something else happened) and had to buy a silencer for my muffler which still is too loud.

 

Do you scrap going over speed bumps i have a stock system

 

I've got a stock manifold, custom piping work, fake cat, and really crappy old muffler that has a hole in it and looks stock (dual chrome tip?). Used to be louder til I got a new flex pipe

 

if I had an engine to put that on I would ask how much!
