Ok guys I need a hatch cover.......the ones that dont have a third brake light trim to them........so the cover that I want would come from a 4th gen with a roof placed third brake light......any one have a pic?......would like it to be black but blue is fine.
anyone?....no one has a pic?......wow....this must be super rare.....lol........come on guys i know there are celicas out in the world with a third brake light mounted on the roof instead of the lower part of the hatch.....i'd like to see that hatch cover trim.
The four cars I had business with only had one, in acceptable condition, the one I'm using now, and it's from my brother's previous ST162. So yea, I think it's quite rare :S If it's not broken or lost, it has stupid huge holes for speakers.
I have one and very proud having it, the only thing you can do is make your own. use the original mountingpoints for it and at least 10mm wood. Put professional cloth on it and you won't see the difference. If you use too thick wood your hatch won't stay open . I have a self made one laying around and it's really an easy job and nobody will see the difference from the original when the hatch is closed.
ps. I used 18mm wood (MDF is that's english) because I place speakers at the undersite with a whole, no see but lot's of sound
nope wrong cover...i have one of those.......i need the cover that attaches TO the hatch.......without the trim cut for the third brake light. IT WOULD HAVE ONLY COME WITH THE MODELS THAT HAD A THIRD BRAKE LIGHT MOUNTED TO THE ROOF! sry caps was still on.
that is the one without the trim cut for the third brake light. what do you mean it attaches to the hatch? like those two strings on the side??
yes......^^^^^.........figured you guys would've known, i would have just place a pic but it would've confused people more i think.
Nope...he doesnt have the right one either.....thanks for the lookout tho...ill just have to take a pic to explain what I mean
Okay.....you're killing me! What the hell is it? Can you go to a parts diagram and grab a part number? I'll be able to figure it out from that.
