GT4 gearbox with useless 1st gear

Wasn't there another thread that showed the FWD selection should not be used in normal driving mode?

 

There are hundreds
What normally happens is the selector itself shatters, but I haven't seen anyone try to run without the rear diff in years.
People have even tried welding them up without success


Like I said, lets see what happens but inevitably it will need a V6/MR2 diff & shafts
A cheaper, easier option would be to opt for a late S54/55 box & shafts
