Does anybodys exhaust do a flash back when they shift? When i first got the exhaust on my GT it would do small 3 or 4 inch flames when i reved it high but i stopped after a while. Ive seen a few videos of all tracs doin it on you tube. What do i need on my trac to do this? Another full exhaust?

Well I can tell you that pretty much all of the cars I race with do this. It's likely a combination of high RPM, low restriction exhaust, and removal of the cat.

um i know that it happens because of deacellorating, or when u take ur foot off the throttle, to change gears, the fuel runs rich till it reaches its idle speed or so, and that fuel goes out the exhaust and gets burnt.

dont no much about this, maybe google it or somethign

My GT would do it once under heavy acceleration or wqhen it was geared down. It stopped after a while though. I figured it was just a high flow exhaust thing. Thanks guys

run 'er a little rich and wire up a spark plug near the end of your exhaust to a surging relay.

Instant flames. Buddy of mine did that on his old Nova, wired the spark plug to a switch. Whenever somebody was tailgating him, he'd hit the switch and scare the shit outta them.

you need a coil as well or a kit.

Its also illegal in most states to wire up a flamethrower setup! EXCEPT here where there is hardly any rules except neon laws and that kinda shit.

yeah it's pretty illegal. but damn cool.

you basically take a coil, doesn't have to be a great one, wire it up with a spark plug you have placed in the exhaust (near the end), and a switch. just be sure your exhaust tip clear the bumper by enough or the flames won't go away when you turn the switch off! haha. I can get more detailed if need be.

if you want to get really crazy hook up n injector as well.

edit: I take no responsibility for any damages caused to your car, yourself, or anyone else as a result of this installation.
