Im looking for an aftermarket exhaust Manifold. I have an 89 GTS and Half of the exhaust system has been replaced with Bosal parts. I would like to get more power and better fuel eco! What should I change and what is the best brand? O I also live in the US.

the best is the st202 3sge manifold...but there are genie headers from australia as well. bosal and walker are the two companies i know that make exact oem replacements for our cars so that shouldn't be a negative thing

Power and fuel economy don't live in the same sentence unfortunately, in your country 1)a free flow cat would be a good start?
    2)EGR delete/block
    3)JDM or programmable ECU

ST202 headers won't fit, ST182 headers will but you'd probably have to get them from an engine importer.
Jasma, Genie, Hotshot are the other brands worth buying - search ebay as you never know

What size Bosal? - less than 2in is not worth upgrading the header

Just FYI, JASMA isn't a brand. It's a standards compliance by the Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association.

I have a set of Genie headers and although I can't comment on the difference they make, I can say i have a very nice top end even with my worn old engine.

Yes, the Jasma standard is very high though and all approved JDM exhausts must carry it (HKS, Toda, TRD etc)
I have one in stainless and it's hard to make out the logo they are so small, wheras the Jasma logo is very prominent so most are advertised as Jasma

Still need to get an heat shield though.

The manifold was a straite swap but the downpipe was a fair bit of work doing it myself cuting and welding with a piece of flexi pipe

Good stuff guys thanks!! Its just a direct OEM replacment from after the Cat to the Muffler. Anything before that is all original and rusty. :/ Thanks for the link matt, I might jump on that! I really dont want to relpace the exhaust since yah know Ive already put a new pipe on.... A good sound would be nice though haha. I saw that the ones on ebay are from the 3S-GE of an MR2, didnt know they would swap.
