What did you have to do to get the turbo working properly? Do you run much boost?

Wow can't believe I never posted in here... I should give my bay a good cleaning first though (and put it back together).

Otherwise engine is stock 3S-GE, enginemanagement is untouched besides of extra fueling in boost area. There is one 530cc injector before throttle body, which is run by little device my friend built. There are two things adjustable, start point of injection (now start in 0.1 bar boost) and the other thing is how rapidly it increases the open time of injector. Triggering for injector is from ignition.

Basic ignition timing is retarded a little to prevent detonation. I know, not so good things, but when you want to do and learn by yourself and do it with budget, it works for me.

Car was in dyno this tuesday and gave 162kW and 318Nm from engine with under 0.5 bar.

^^thats hell ghetto spec, but clearly works, 162kw atw in a 162 would pull quite nicely,

I just googled how to convert kw<>hp...I just discovered I'm around 200kw :yikes:

It sounds like something that I'd rig up in an old dirt track beater

It must work pretty well though.

Honestly, unless you can come up with the parts cheap or free its not worth it. Trust me, Ive been down this road of turboing a 3SGE. If you want to go turbo, Just do a swap IMO.

Oh I wasn't even thinking about turboing my GE, I'm just going to build up a 5S-GTE slowly while I'm on my Ps.
