So im going to buy new CV's and I checked rock auto and got two different lengths for the same joint Surtrack Left GT-S: 24 21/32" Compressed length EMPI Left GT-S: 24 11/16" Compressed length Same for the other side: Surtrack Right GT-S: 35 3/4" Compressed length EMPI Right GT-S: 36 1/16" Compressed Length The question is which one to buy?
I have always used the EMPI half shafts on all my front wheel drive replacement jobs, very good quality parts! racerb
The difference between the two is only 1/32 of an inch...that is assuming that the 11/16 one just isn't measured in 32nd's and is close enough to 11/16 to be called that. (hope that makes sense) I'm sure they are the same, if not I dont believe 1/32 of an inch make a difference anyway.
