Can't downshift into 3rd!

As Alex said, if you rev-match your shifts with a blip on the throttle you can downshift from 5th to 3rd at 100km/h and just punch past traffic on the highway. Its something I wouldn't have tried on a shitty S53, but on the S54 its just magic. You end up around 5000rpm, right in the meat of the power.

MR2 box requires linkages from your old Celica box to be fitted in. To swap from an S53 to any S54, you just re-use the original celica mounts. So far in all my boxes I have used Dexron 3 ATF, works very well. Dex 2 is listed in the BGB but is no longer avaliable.

Hell the only gear I can down shift from is 5th to 4th without grinding, And who said Drag racing wont hurt your tranny !!!
