The wife and I leave Saturday for a week in Daytona. We plan on getting down there early to watch Nationwide Series (formerly Busch) practice on Monday and Tuesday, with some sight seeing before Grand-Am hits the track on Thursday. Friday is the Koni Challange series with 90+ cars expected for their 3 hr. race. Saturday is the start of the 24 with over 70 cars hoping to take the green flag. There will be live coverage by both FOX and SPEED Channel, so if you aren't going check it out on the tube!!

I'll probably watch it on SPEED, can't make it down cuz of school, plus I suck and have a negative cash flow lol. Sounds like fun times though.

if not this race then you should also check out the 24 hours of lemons...no lemans but lemons. cheap cars that were bought for less than 500 with no more than 100 in repairs have to go for 24 hours. it is sick. there are rules for racing. check it out.

Hey guys, we didn't get to see much of the 24, cause our weekend was cut short by a death in the family. Did get to see a great Koni Challange race on Friday, which will be televised on SPEED some time soon. Was a little disapointed that the Scion Tc that scheduled to run didn't show, but hopefully it will be at some future races.

Like I was saying the death of my wife's grandmother, meant we had to return to NC early, but we still had a great time at the track. I'll post some pics later.
