Anyone feel like trying a nasty chop-job?

    So, the new sides are in place, haven't done the EB110 "speed holes" yet though. Thought you might like an update:

    Actually, no. We originally wanted to delete that window completely, but it turned out we had a huge blind spot. We futzed around and discovered that this was all we needed to eliminate it. With the mirrors set up right, we have no blind spot.

    kinda looks oldschool celica like this more than a 5th gen I'd say....

    Rye: thats kinda where I was going with it, but I wanted a curve there rather than a straight edge like on that one.

    MITT4G: The foam was temporary while I was making the body molds. Now that I've got those off the car, I could remove it to do the rest of the work to prep for the body. In this case, I didn't want to weld next to most of the foam, or, you know, FOOM. The chunk left is there so we can take measurements off it to set the rear decklid up right.

    So, I've finished this "chop" the hard way. With a welder.
