So I've been thinking I might do something fairly unique to my Celi, I want to make my indicators and brake lights animated. I've made a quick mockup of the indicator animation with a few LEDs and a microcontroller, but first; Do you guys think it would be rice or unique and awesome? I like your idea!!!But IMO I think it will look a lot better in a more recent car,but nothing like you try!!
i think its cool! but the only thing is, we only have one slot to signal. if we had more, like the mustang, then it would look good.
ford has had tail lights that do this wince the 60's. i always think of this as a ford thing. kinda like altezza lights are a toyota thing. i worry that the tail lights will become a fad.

I rekon I could make it look respectable I was going to make a whole new insert for the indicator assembly to pretty much fill the space with LEDs. I actually didn't know that, there's not too many mustangs over here. I haven't seen very many animated indicator/brake lights either. haha technically the indicators flash already, but "dazzling" is up to the officer's interpretation unfortunately! My new econometer bits should be here sometime next week I don't see why I'd want the indicators animating while they're not in use, I don't want people thinking I can't decide which way to turn lol
The Roush Mustangs, the Cobra's and other upper level Mustangs have the 'dancing' indicators. It's only on though when you go to signal a left/right turn. Brake lights are still solid. I agree with everyone, cars with single slots for the lights = rice. The newer vehicles or even multi slot cars (or a single long one like my Mazda) would look nice in.
