^You could always paint your steelies satin black and add trim rings. Cheap and effective for a rally rim look, which I've always liked:
Chrome trim (wheel) rings can be found at large auto retailers, wheel and tire shops, online retailers and junkyards usually have a bunch for sale. Just shop around, b/c the junkyards sometimes charge only a few bucks less than brand new, so beware.
found some trim rings at a local kragen but they only carried them or 14s and 15s no 13s for me. but once i get some tires for the extra set of civic donuts i'll be getting the 14s
I used to have a set of 13" on my old Datsun 510. Saw a bunch of trim rings hanging on the fence at the junkyard today, I shoulda asked how much.
my car came with 13" rims and I am going up to 14" rims. A little less wimpy but won't change the ride at all. Larger rims are going to give you a harder ride I would go no larger then 15"
yes, thanks rick carmela i didnt think that it would change the ride if i changed rim sizes. thanks a lot. i was maybe thinking of 14s that look pretty good i guess. i think that that size is the stock size for the alloys
89Carmela is right - bigger rim + less tire sidewall = harder ride. A jump from 13 to 14 or 15 won't be as noticeable though, as a jump to 16 or 17 would be.
i think the 15s from a 6th gen look perfect. However, I needed spacers to clear the damn springs in the rear. :x
I used 5mm (1/8") spacers to clear the rear struts; fronts were fine. I love the Gen6 rims too
I had my father in law make me some spacers out of 1/8" aluminum. Best part.... FREE  Rick... that's basically what I want mine to look like.
I may be able to have him make some to sell you guys in need. What would be a fair price for a pair or set of 4?
Greg, yeah the Gen6 rims are perfect for our cars, can't beat the 5-spokers. My 89GTS may end up looking like your car after I do bodywork and rattle-can satin black, lol  Kevin, do a search and price out universal spacers. If they're thin 5mm-8mm spacers, they're only about $12 a pair. The thicker, hub-centric spacers get a lot pricier though.
Thats one step better than mine then. I cheaped out and got semi-gloss since it was cheaper than satin. I really need to redo the paint but may get it sprayed this winter.
