Thanks Guys, problem was the idiot mech put the copper washers the wrong way round so the small washer was wedged on the inside of the Damper stopping fuel delivery, i'd never seen one before so i didn't know what to look for, after a few hours online with "Da Horse" we found this to be the problem, took me a while to get it out, a hammer, 2 nails and a scalpel (which i broke) to get the bugger out but once it was it all suddenly made sense. will get new washer tomorrow and hopefully we'll see an improvement

I put battery in and tried to start it and all this fuel pissed out the rail, Damper wasn't down tight enough and broken O ring on the 4th injector, So i had to pull it all out again, replace the O Ring and now it's back to eratic idling.

I must have screwed those washers up but i don't remember doing it.

Have a video of currrent condition http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FL4PkAXKJE

    Ideas?
    I'm so Heart Broken

and She's off, just a TPS problem after i sorted those washers up and no it wasn't me it was the Mechs.
Thanks everyone for their advice and support but i have one other thing, though i'm not sure anyone's reading this anymore.
my timing seems to be out advanced where 20-30 degrees would be i imagine, can't get it back any further coz i won't be able to secure the dizzy, anyone got any ideas on what might be causing this?

Well I'm glad to hear that its running good.

I would have to guess that you have not performed the timing test correctly. I do believe that you are either suposed to block off a vacuum line or jump a couple conections in the diagnostics port. Which should change the reading by about 10 degrees.

Yep you were right, gotta jump T and E1 in the Diagnostic terminal, forgot about the base timing, oops, also had to mess with my TPS a little bit to get her running right but done that now, She's 10 degrees advanced and has brilliant response and torque, before it was a lot of top end power but this still kicks and accelerates much faster IMO.

Kinda ashamed to post pics of my car, i used to love cleaning it and taking pictures of it, there are so many great angles to get good views from, unfortunately retarded farmers in their 4WD patrol's (No offence to Farmers on here) put an end to that by U-turning from the left hand Lane whilst i was in the right coming up to the Traffic lights to take the turn home. Obviously illegal i thought but apparently not, the PoPo said that "I" Struck the rear end of his car and must have been travelling too close, WTF, of course i was travelling close, he was in the Lane F*#king next to me. i hit the right rear quarter and spun his utility almost 90 degrees i must have hit the side to turn him!
So my celica has a bit of a frankentein look with a right headlight that won't sit flush anywhere near normal and a White bonnet that's been bent to catch onto the hood release, i Have a red hood but it's in perfect condition and i want to try and figure out a method to fix the front before I go fitting it and flashing the car about.
Breaks my heart everytime i have to look at her like that but i still Love her, you can tell by my utter refusal to move on and let her die.

Note* This is also why there is paint missing off the front, why i have the pox grill and my number plate is broken, had just got the front bar back from being re-sprayed not 5days before the accident, just to add insult to injury.
Also Haven;t flogged the car yet and taken notice of sprint times, got a nice piece of open road round my house though, might take her for a spin and post my best time. it's rated like 8.6 or 8.3 normally isn't it?

Well I'll shame you into posting pics cause my Tracs body has seen better days but personally I put my effort into making sure it is mechanically sound first then when reliability isn't an issue I will do cosmetic improvements.

A dead deer I ran over removed a nice amount of paint from my front bumper.

Rust and body trim pieces I removed before they fell off.

True but like you said, yours is in an All Track, who out there is going to bag on an alltrack? those can't be the latest pics of the Alltrack can they? that's tragic, i thought you'd got all that Rust out and painted her up nice, really like what your doing there BTW, wish i had those sorts of tools and expertice at my disposal, not to mention some form of finacial support, really dig the Celica/Supra too, mint car, i wanted one of those, but too much trouble i was told, need a lot of work.
Anyway, Will post pics though so you can judge for yourself.
EDIT* actually for those of you with MySpace there is a whole album dedicated to my car called "My Obsession" my myspace link is http://www.myspace.com/saintjester
there are also a couple of pics in my photobucket profile (along with a lot of crap)

Ok so i was told that originally because the engine had been sitting around for a fair while that it would be blowing out a bit of condensation for a while, but i've been running it a fair bit and still it's smoking, i may be over reacting but i want it all to be spot on so i'm looking deeply into ever little thing. I'm thinking Valve stem seals, opinions?

this is after the car has been idling for 10min or so. i was told to check if it goes away after a little while and to make sure it wasn't condensation.

If you have the tools I'd do a compression test.

Did you follow the procedure in the manual, disconect the cold start injector and remove all the spark plugs and disconnect the coil lead to the distributor after the engine had warmed up if so 160ish is low. Try putting a teaspoon or 2 of oil in the cylinder you are checking. If the compression goes up it is probably worn rings as the extra oil you added will help the rings to seal better. If the compression doesn't go up then you may have valve issues.
