Re: 86 GT-S not sure, it just needs intercooler, an stand alone or something to tune it right, and a bov then i think thats it
Re: 86 GT-S haha its not my car its a friends but its basically like we both own it but i'll def get some vids up once its ready it has a ka24de in it right now thats gonna take a shit soon...and hes building the other motor out of the car so once that takes a shit, if the boosted one is ready, its just gonna drop in.
Re: 86 GT-S Oh! i thought you owned both of them lol cant wait to see the vids! good luck to your friend
Re: 86 GT-S and shes done! clutch works GREAT, feels tons better. cant wait til after the break in is over  things that got done to the car while in my school shop: new clutch/pressure plate/release bearing resurfaced flywheel new tranny fluid(duh) new sway bar links cleaned throttle body removed all p/s related items new cv boots just need a oil change haha
Re: 86 GT-S omg! thats only a dream for me. lol and the best part about it was that labor was free! nice dude
Re: 86 GT-S well my friend was pulling my p/s pump for me while me and another friend worked on the clutch. well when we were all done it wouldnt stay running, so we were tryin to find out why. eventually i looked under/behind the intake manifold and there was a pipe that ran from the side of the intake manifold to below and under it that was causing a bad vacuum leak, so i gotta find out what that went to. then there was another unplugged pipe that was a very small leak. so its running decent now, but i think the timing is off and i think i need new plug wires. and at idle it makes a lot of popping sounds like its missing
Re: 86 GT-S sea foamed my car today, made a noticable difference. changed oil re timed it all is good with her, running like a champ. cant wait till the break in period is over for my clutch, its taking forever!
Re: 86 GT-S car is doing great. having a new muffler put on soon because mine rotted off(again!?) getting some hid's for christmas. im moving to arizona in july( i live in washington state) for UTI, and im takin the celica. i hope to have new rims and tires put on by then, but god damn, they are EXPENSIVE.
Re: 86 GT-S man! going to UTI!? sweet! you shoulda looked into the UTI in sacramento, california dude. that way we can meet up or something and cruise sometime. haha coolgleamA  but good luck in arizona man. its rust free over there too, so thats a plus. nervous? ohnoes
Re: 86 GT-S my first choice was sac since its closest to me, but the navy will only pay for the one in arizona for some reason, im very lucky, i get to use my dad's GI bill, which pays for the college and housing. it should be great im going down there and rooming with 2 of my buddies, one with a gsr dc2 integra! i will also have a job down there plus the leftover money from my step dads gi bill so i should have money to dump into the celica ALSO, getting the rims i posted about in general discussion. i will have the money on the 15th or 16th and am SO excited to get them.
Re: 86 GT-S man! you are sooo dang lucky! haha good luck and nice rims dude. what a steal! good luck and your car should look a lot more aggressive
Re: 86 GT-S Pics of the new rims. 16's. terrible pics but its alright. and if i ever get bored with them i can paint the rim a different color like bronze/gold or a darker grey and keep the chrome lip.
