    Re: 86 GT-S

well my friend was pulling my p/s pump for me while me and another friend worked on the clutch.
well when we were all done it wouldnt stay running, so we were tryin to find out why. eventually i looked under/behind the intake manifold and there was a pipe that ran from the side of the intake manifold to below and under it that was causing a bad vacuum leak, so i gotta find out what that went to. then there was another unplugged pipe that was a very small leak. so its running decent now, but i think the timing is off and i think i need new plug wires.
and at idle it makes a lot of popping sounds like its missing

sea foamed my car today, made a noticable difference.
    changed oil
    re timed it
all is good with her, running like a champ. cant wait till the break in period is over for my clutch, its taking forever!

    Re: 86 GT-S

my first choice was sac since its closest to me, but the navy will only pay for the one in arizona for some reason, im very lucky, i get to use my dad's GI bill, which pays for the college and housing. it should be great im going down there and rooming with 2 of my buddies, one with a gsr dc2 integra! i will also have a job down there plus the leftover money from my step dads gi bill so i should have money to dump into the celica :D
ALSO, getting the rims i posted about in general discussion. i will have the money on the 15th or 16th and am SO excited to get them.

Pics of the new rims. 16's. terrible pics but its alright. and if i ever get bored with them i can paint the rim a different color like bronze/gold or a darker grey and keep the chrome lip.
