1989 ST162 parting out everything

Definately RH maybe both, not sure yet, the RH one works but the middle button is broken off but still works because some clown had put a screw in it. :aargh this will be purely for aesthetics.
The LH one doesn't work from the switch but does from the RH side so I will pull it apart first to see whats up.

i was gonna get around to see if i could replace that flip switch and also see if i could get auto up as well.......what i really want is an auto down for the passenger side.....that would be cool..

 

You can. There is a little piece on the back side of the switch that stops you to push it down by default. Break it out and auto-up reveals itself

 

Yep, I pulled the switch apart as well and immediately saw it and snapped it off.

Just remember that the auto UP is designed to stop short for safety.

 

there are switches you can get but they dont fit where the stock ones go........i can send you a lhd one and you could make it work but you wouldnt have a cover over your switch. or unless you cut a new "lock" button hole out.
