    All sounds potentially good guys, hope everything falls into place for your meet, let me tell you from experience......it's like taking a girl out on your first date, the feeling you get meeting other owners of the same generation Celicas for the first time ever. Even after the meet, the great feeling will be with you for a few weeks :cool :D

    Do what's necessary for your car Phantom. . . If good things didn't take time and effort, everybody here would have 3SGTEs at the very least . .

    Besides, there's always next year. . .

    And CelicaSteve, spoken like a true seasoned vet. . . And you keep your car in really mint condition. . . Keep it up

    Holy crap. Toyota Meet! Queen Mary! May 14th! I didn't know! :shock Let's make it 3 more 4th gens guys. :cool

    My car's not running the best either, but still drivable nonetheless. I can say the same for me. Serious about the meets. Even a cruise around. Hopefully school doesn't get in the way and I can participate. Keep us updated as well Phantom. When you're done with the repairs we can make plans for a meet.

    If necessary, I'm more than willing to help anybody else out working on their car if possible just to make the May 14th deadline.

    Given it's close enough a drive for me of course.

    Thanks Jake! Found out why there was so much water in my trunk... it was from the Jdm Orange Vents! I should have taped it shut! at least there's drain holes on the bottom Phew! Start to get a leak from the front also! and it's coming in from the windshield! Freaking rusting a bit... going to have to save up an get the whole thing looked at an fixed. Kinda glad I put my stock red's on with the little lights, didn't want to screw up some perfect Jdm Vents :hehe But my taillights turned out great! Here's a picture with the Led's on

    You're supposed to close off the hole, stock has these slats inside to keep the water out which the bulbs don't have.
    Can you fit them without removing the bulb holder?

    No can do bro, I have to take the whole thing out for it to fit those slats look nice. Here are what mine look like.

    Water leak :byodood ! The front is due to the windshield upper right hand is rusting! an rear left window is leaking in... Sealed it up for now I've got to save up money for the 110% fix! My integra hydroplaned into a sidewalk during a big storm an being really low... my radiator is cracked an my exhaust is making a really load noise in the front an the right tow hook on the bottom of the car is smashed in :cuss ..

    Well I hope I fixed the leaks, other then that.. I got some side markers! going for the JDM look now! an here are some pictures I took today, also a picture of my smoked foggies! everything is smoked for the jdm look or feel.

    That's awesome man. I was thinking of doing the same thing with the Euro side markers by the door. :thumbsup: I can see now that it looks AWESOME. I knew these cars could pull off the sinister look. Wonder what they look like in matte black.

    Thanks Steve, I actually went through 70% of the member's celica section last night reading almost everyone's thread and read his especially. ALOT of posts! But I enjoyed it. Wish everyone back then still posted regularly, monthly even. And the first time I saw Matt's Celica was on ROTM months and months ago before I actually posted on the forums. I had to look a second time and stared hard because it looked so much like mine. I actually signed up on ST162.net back in June, but I didn't get an email back for an activitation for some reason. I ended up registering 2 more times in 4 months haha. Was a pain because I really wanted to read up on a site that actually is dedicated to these Celicas.

    Anyway back on topic, Phantom are those side markers real JDM Celica ones? If, so how did you get them! :shock

    Phantom, which headlights are those? And where did you get 'em? HID conversion? What heat range (8000K)?

    The side markers are for an old honda but I got them at the import shop I go which happened to sell it an I thought to myself hey.. they kinda look like the JDM ones so I got them an used the LED Amber side marker light from my integra to the celica since I'm not going to lie.. It's my baby! The headlights I got from a friend which I think are the cheap projector headlights on ebay, they're not good at all! lots of rainbows an I can even blind houses lol and there's a place for a small little blue bulb which makes the headlight fit funny maybe that's the reason it's high but I can see the road fine... Getting the Euro ones from ebay soon here's a link of them:

    @James: The Hid's I'm running are 8k size h4, I'll get better pictures of the side markers for you guys tomorrow.

    @Steve: Thanks I even looked at your pictures to get an idea where the side marker would be placed at :cheers and I'm going for a sinister look since my car goes by Vader :D, I remember Matt well we're friends on facebook lol.
