Hey guys need a bit of input! Due it trying not to spend a lot of money what do you guys thing about using fiberglass to hold my hood scoop on my hood an will it even least? In the picture it doesn't sit flat on our hoods an I cant really cut it too close but if I use fiberglass an shape it a bit then sand it out would it hold? an I also have st165 vents.
I agree, you've got one tough looking car right now...I'm not sure how well that vent will play into the current look of the car...also...WHERE DID YOU GET THE FENDER FLARES?
I mostly need the vent's for function since 3sgte motor's get really hot! I got them from ebay, even tho they don't lay evenly on the ground an I had to sand them all down they were poorly made . Look up 240z fenders, that's what I used.
Saw this today and instantly thought of your car! thought you might enjoy this! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-S...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd205ebf5
it can be done. if that is a cs vent then it'll be a bitch since you have no flat section to work with.
Can you tell me what size wheels and tires are on in these pictures. I would really like to go for this look when I buy new tires. Also what are those fender flares off of? Also is that a 162 front lip mounted on your 165 front bumper?
How did you do that to your hood? I've been trying to do that for so long, I just don't know how too!
Please do tell me where you got your fender flares off of? Those set the car off beautiful with the st162 & st165 body? That's just amazing , also is your Celica painted with matte and of what color paint code?
this car belongs to a very good friend of mine. lives around the corner from me too. that is what happens when you spend 2K on a hood. that is a real RC hood from a 185. he had a body shop take the RC hood skin off and put it on a 16x frame. it is stunning in person, very well done. if I didn't know how it was done I would have thought it was stock.
the fender flares are from ebay, looked up 240z's an looked at the sizes an got the best one that matched up with the st165 body. The paint is just plasti dip matte black.
