I've just about had it with driving around in a car that is 5 colors, decided to finally paint my '86 gt before i have to move to a new place without a garage. It has the GTS spoiler because the hatch was replaced after a break in. Anyways, wondering if anyone has done a yellow job on a 162. I've never seen one so I would like it to be original. Also, should I paint the trim on the side or leave it as is (faded to grayish)
i will post pics of 2 yellow celicas when i get home from work. they are rather lovely. what part of sacramento you in? i live in the citrus heights area and work in roseville. we need to get a mini nor-cal meet going on. will post them up later!
thank you very much, definitely gonna do yellow. just need to decide if i want to paint the trim or not... I'll post some pics as soon as im done. and sr5punk, right now i live and work in roseville for about another week, as of next week i'll be in the arden area, a meet would definitely be cool, I've always loved these celicas, and it would be awesome to see what some people have done to them
ow my god !! you found pics of my previous ST162 after I crashed it !!! hahahaha and the other dutch yellow one I know as well.
i say leave the trim... that one 3rd from the top on sprey's post is one of my fav 4th gens!! love those rims and that nice clean looking paint job!
