driving down hwy 90 on my way to work, down a hill at like 90km/h when all of a sudden my car goes ka-put. The radio still working but he engine's gone. No turn signal or wipers ect. Naturaly Im conserned. Drift of to the sholder still in shock. TUrn the key back to acc. then clutch in, starts fine and off we go.

Now im really hoping its an easy explaination. MY key has one of those clips (mountain climbing style) and when I drive i keep my knee pressed agaist the steering coloum, where the key is and I usualy have to push the clip and other keys out of the way cuz they get pined between my knee and the car. So reviewing the situation, its possible by pushing against the key chain I just turned the key out of the ON position enough to trigger the car to turn off. It acted exactly like it would have if they car was in Accessory mode, so I got my figners crossed.

Any words of wisdom or encouragement :p?

it wasnt on accessory, but theres a chance it was unseated from the ON position... my keychain isnt girly, I hate big keychains, but I can clip it onto my belt loop so I like it...and it was free... ya well... atleast I dont own a colt! (be it i was trying to find one of the 660cc turbo kei cars at one point :p)

ya sounds like its just your knee being the problem. i wouldnt worry about it unless it happens again in the near future.
