Did you not get them in Oz? Comes stock on the GT4's too, you need the mudflaps as well, yours won't fit I stole some from a GT4 and converted my car last year, just as well - the stock thin ones rust under the plasti-dip
Nope, we got these ones: Mine are rusted under the factory paint as well. I'm going to delete the mudflaps anyway so I don't mind that the set that I have wouldn't fit with the GT4 skirts. We didn't get the GT4 here, the small number that we have were private imports so they're not exactly overflowing in wrecking yards :lol: However, should you know of anyone in NZ with a set that they are willing to let go, or stumble across a parts car, let me know cost and shipping and I'll paypal you with a few extra bucks thrown in for your trouble.
i would just take those off and leave them off. they look more like they were supposed to be step ladders. imo the black from underneath the side parts sort of simulate the bigger side skirts.
They were off - I had to put one back on just now to take a photo :lol I don't like the blackout at the bottom of the panels, I realise why they did it but for my mind it's the reason why most ST162's look like they are sitting too high. If I can get hold of a set of skirts like yours I'll colour-code them. If not then I'll just fill the holes, run no skirts and paint the panels all the way down to the sills.
If only, I bought the last gt4 that came up for sale and that was nearly a year ago The gt4 skirts are made from high quality stainless, imo they made the car look fatter and meaner I may have good news for you if you are interested... 2yrs ago I bought a set of TRD skirts on ebay and rev picked them up in Melbourne for me, they are still lying there! Evidently they need some cracks fixed and a re-spray, if you are interested? It's the only loose set of TRD skirts in existence The only pic I've ever seen on the TRD kit, I think the SSV skirts are a copy but they have the join further back
Thanks for the offer Stig, the boxing-out of the lower guards won't really fit the style I'm going for though, so I'll pass on them. (*gulp*, passing on the only known loose set on the planet.... I must be mad...)
