You don't need to buy the whole light unit, the vents will just replace the solid reflectors on your existing lights, they're only held in by two tabs on one side and a clip on the other side: I have a pair that I had organised to sell to another forum member but I haven't heard back from him in several months, I'll send him a message, if he doesn't want or need them any more then you can buy them instead:
Well the ones I have now are the solid USDM taillights, and id like to switch over to the vented/reflector ones! Plus mine are cracked pretty bad :/
solid usdm? there are no solid ones. you just unscrew two screws to take out the part that the vented lenses go into.
Sorry, I couldn't think of a better word. Those are the ones I meant, solid as in flat, plain, no vents spiedr0722, sorry I forgot you had a coupe, I don't believe they had corner vents in any market and the hatch tails don't fit.
Well thats slightly depressing... I looked at body shots of my tailights and the vented ones and they look like the same angles and measurements on both the coupe an hatch, except for the reverse light being in a different spot?
