WTB orange tailight w/vents insert and....

    For the JDM corners, the top half of the lens has that clear light, is there a switch that turns them on separately?
    Yeah throw me your price Stig, if you find some JDM corners.

    no the lights all work normally....there's no "switch" the makes them turn on separately.......i made just my top half come on.....by not hooking up the bottom......i guess you could put one of the two on a separate switch to turn on if you wanted to.

    The clear part is the park light, the orange is the indicator.
    AFAIK your's are the same - it's the Corona crystals that only have one bulb and have to be modified

    Rick, Kevyang, Mafix, etc didn't have any problems getting them working or with the law

    As far as the marker/corners go.... here's a quick take....

    USDM have one bulb (Right) the Euro/JDM have 2 bulbs (Left)...

    I did not use the JDM harness as I did not want to cut it up, so I went to the local Pick a Part and grabbed the fender marker bulb sockets with a length of the harness from another donor Celica, and wired into the parklite wire to to light up when the parklights only are on. The bottom of the light is dual use for parklight/turn signal like the regular lights work. Basically, just made for all 4 to come on, then just the bottom for indicator flash along with regular parklite... No probs from the police at all....

    the USDM socket has 3 wires going into it. two + and one Ground
    one of the + wires is your park light (when you turn your lights on, but not the headlights)
    the other + wire is the turn signal
    basically the USDM bulb is a high/low beam bulb. low beam when park light only, high beam when turn signals.

    i hooked up my euro corner's clear part to the park light +, bottom orange part to the turn signal. no problems with the popo yet

    looks like i have daytime running lights

    if you do it reverse, clear part as turn signal, orange part to park light, your turn signals will be faster repetition because of the lower resistance of the smaller bulb.

    OK, I see the Corona has a single filament bulb, your's is dual.
    Ours are 2 singles but I've always supplied the harness which I think plugs straight in?
    (3 pins)

    AFAIK you can't have an indicator that's not orange or red.
    I had to remove my blue park leds too, cops don't like competition

    i disconnected my "parking light" i only have turn signal lights in the front with these and i placed them in the clear ones.

    no wonder your turn signals are faster lol

    when i did mine i don't remember cutting anything from the original harness. i just used an assortment of butt and spade connectors iirc. i've also played with the single filament bulbs on the dual plugs and they still worked, except of course it's only one brightness.
