guys...get jdm knowledged! zenki simply means 1st version, kouki means 2nd version. so it just simply means: zenki = 86-87 = prefacelift kouki = 88-89 = facelift on any car.
haha eNtrax is correct. I knew the word "zenki" would add confusion. But yea I'm looking for pre-facelift JDM tail lights.
I think thats where my added confusion was. I wasn't aware that Zenki ment 1st gen but I didn't think there was a difference between the US and JDM prefacelift taillights.
How much Roy? I believe JDM & USDM is the same, these have foglights in them? Where does the foglight sit?
There is a difference between the US and JDM/European. It's the vents. Not only are they for looks but actual air vents for the rear quarter panels. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1987_TOYOTA_CELICA_ST162-BLMVF_6102.html The US versions have a smaller opening enough for a light for the rear side markers Since I already have the whole rear quarter panel vents sitting in my parts bin and plus I have cracked tail lights, I'd like to install them in with some uncracked pre-facelift tail lights. Hey Roy, how much to ship a pair of those tail lights to california, zipcode 94080? Also any cracks or major scratches/scuffs on them? I would need to give them a good cleaning and polishing for sure.

as promised the pictures. I numbered the lights 1 - 4 and left the number on them. I didn't see any cracks on them, only some scratching and I have the full size pictures for you but they are too big too post, maybe msn messenger ?? Nr. 1 has a slight damaged attachement bolt at the back, see pic. Rest is all fine. All the black you see is on my hands again...stupid good kit toyota used I can deliver 1 set with lightholderthing at the back. second set I miss the left one .
