It wasn't even raining when I entered the car and accidently hit the the lever which turned on the windshield wipers. That may be important to know since the motor should be working harder to move the wipers on a dry windshield.

By the time I turned the lever to the off position, the wipers may had gone up, down, then half way up and stopped.

I checked the wiper fuse (number 11 in the manual) left of the driver's foot and it was good.

I read another post regarding wiper's not working but they referred to the motor still working (and could be heard) and that the plastic pivol point needing attention in some way. In my case, I can not hear the motor and both wipers are not working.

I do seem to hear a slight clicking noise when I move the lever to a different wiper speed. I believe it could be an electrical clicking rather than a manual clicking. Wish I were more 100% on that one.

    Advice? And thanks.

You might try a little WD 40 on the linkage and the motor, connections etc ...
