    Well hey again

kind of a random question why does it feel more powerful when it is 1st started it idling at 1500 and when i rev it goes up quicker ( dw im not a know that goes to 7000 lol just went to about 2500-2800)

anyone else have the same thng?

i just guess cuz its partialy on load aka 1500 revs so when u rev it goes up faster rather than building up from say warm idle 800

i have this too, i thinks its a combination of the cold morning, the higher idle and maybe because the air is cold our cars enrich the fuel, so it just races up the highway

If you start from 700, and 1500, 1500 will rev higher faster because you're already higher than 700...

all toyota's i've driven get majorly effected by hot and cold air differences. i sometimes wait till like 2am and then take the celica for drives cause its so much more responsive and loves reving more! plus theres less cars on the roads at that hour of the morning...

hahaha well, no wonder all those 0-100 in the thread seemed so fast for stock celica's....

  11. Ideal temp for your car to run in is in the high 50s and low 60 degrees fahrenheit. They love the cold air!
