I'm hanging on to my celica as long as i can. It's full of memories, stories and smells of the past. I may be only 18 but i prefer this old car. Like i said in my thread, when i drive newer cars I feel like its driving me and correcting all my mistakes, but with the celica, youre in control. you feel everything and learn from all your mistakes. I've thought about saving up for a new car manytimes but the thought of saving up for new parts for the celica is even better!
oh yes! :munch i partly feel to blame for a lot of guys giving in the towel. when you look at cars like some of us own and then look at your own, it's somtimes very hard to fathom what we have all started with. there is kind of an unpronounced group of us on here that just have gems to drive and play with. while everyone else always seem to be fixing something or another that has failed. i honestly wish i could help every single person on here with my hands but i can't. the best we can do is spread the "desease" (as steve calls it) to all the members and continue helping every way we can. and do remember everyone, 4 years ago none of this exsisted. we were the bastard children everywhere we looked. now i feel we have more information on the 4th gen chassis than even toyota had when they were new. as long as we keep modifying, rebuilding, and loving the cars; our community will grow.
