when your driving at 1am and someone is flashing u to pull over, so u do just to find out it is a 4th gen wit a old dude also :hurray
When the moment comes for its last drive ready for breaking, it runs perfectly, no smoke, everything spot on, and means that the pain doubled... :banghead :banghead I was so tempted to go for one last long illegal drive!
When you still drive your Celica everywhere, even though you fear that it might and stop on the road and need a tow.
When you finally discover wtf the lumbar thing is. 0_0 OMG I freaking love playing around with it. XD GAWD I love my 162. *sniffle*
+1 - passing up a mint black 300ZX and buying 2 ST162's instead Driving 1/2 way across the country to fetch an obscure part or meet some fellow owners. Your partners face every time a parcel arrives from the other side of the planet :eek5
when you go to the junkyard to find parts for a completely different car and end up just looking for celicas.
- +1. I end up spending more time on other cars just for this reason. sometimes ill pull parts of them and then try to fit them to a celica at the yard.
my newest find... when a sledgehammer becomes part of your normal "celica" tools. and also for me when an upgraded part needs to be upgraded more because you upgraded something else due to an upgrade :banghead i'ev discovered upgrading celicas is an infinate loop. by the time you get back around to the beginning; add a "0" to the end of the cost of everything.
When you spend allot of time restoring one as a project and find one with no rust buy it and use your old one to get it fixed than send it away gutted In my case the 89 project it's gutted and rear quarter is getting cutout To get put on written off 86 no rust
:iagree not cause its screwed me but only cause i think about what i could have bought with all the $ ive shelled into this thing and still have a ff 4 banger.....wtf. but god damn if it doesnt put a giant grin on my face when i rip it around.
When you get angry at the not running hunk of junk in your driveway, but smile every time you look at it.
