Gday all! #Newyearnewcar? Hahaa not a chance. Seeing as everyone has been quiet the last few months I thought I'd start things off. What projects, maintenance or mods do you have on the board this year for your 4th gen, or any other car you're working on even! --------------------- For me, I've got a few things. I'm only currently maintaining my car till I can get a new daily as I'm putting disgusting Ks on my car, approx 50,000 the last 6 months! The current plan is a Jap import. Likely an Evo 7 or similar as I know people who have lots of experience with those, and they're still a decent price! Once I've done that, I can pull my Celica off the road and do some work on it. Body and brakes are on the list, with 185 front calibers (I heard they fit) and a full body sand, rust treat and respray ideally. Then I think I'll be happy with my car! I'll try and put some updates up, and tricks I've found while repairing it for future generations to follow, haha.

hey everyone! my plan for this year is to just drive the alltrac, but there are some "wants" listed - the ebay exhaust still has some rattling on the rear subframe - the door panels need to have the chrome trim re-inserted back in. it's pulled out over time - maybe tackle the rear diff mount. it's not bad...but i'm using the clutch a lot so accel/decel isn't so harsh, and i'd rather not do a clutch - polish the paint
I'd really like to get my built engine and new gearbox in mine this year, maybe get the bodywork done and new paint as well, but the Mrs and I are spending on house reno's and I'm going back to Uni, so money is a bit tight. Might have to wait until next year. Just like I said last year,and the one before that... On the upside, I've sorted all the issues and its proving to be a reliable daily.
Been doin basic maintenance items needed for a 33 year old car - already have done a few things this year: 1) New fuel pump (have to drop the tank on 4 Gens hahah). 2) New starter (have to remove the exhaust mani on on GTS also replaced the gaskets too) 3) Tune and service. NowI need to fix my amp...occasionally it cuts-out. Either sketchy wiring or a bad mosfet. Vicdat
