Ok so I've been looking at pics and post and I'm really interested in swapping a beams red top engine into my 86 gts so my question is what do I need to do the swap and if any one has any pics I'm more a picture kinda guy lol well thanks
Motor, ECU and engine loom (harness). That's a good start. Then you'll need to re-wire the loom to make it work for your car. After that you can install everything (your transmission will work just fine). While you're doing it I'd recommend to reseal the motor and put new gaskets everywhere.
Im in the process of doing this right now, just prepping my motor first before anything else. as 4thgenceli said, plus youll need the air box and intake boot. be prepared to spend some $
