I have one original for the GT-R - Originals are silver lines printed on clear vinyl Was he able to buy all the others new? - I see the sides are also missing
here in europe we almost never had the side ones . The one you show is not European however . We don't know a GT-R I had 2.0 GT on mine but he says it should be 2.0 GT-i What is the partnumber of the one you have stig? i might convince him to cut of the R

In Europe, vinyls on 3SGE Celica were 2.0 GT for pre-facelift (86 and 87), and 2.0 GT-i 16 for post-facelift (88 and 89).
Those pics all show pre-facelift cars I think the GT was a ltd edition high compression model, we got them here too I don't have the p/n as it's lying in storage atm, not that it would help as Toyota told me they aren't available which is why I'm asking if the others are still available.
Hi Kevin. No, those pics do not show only pre-facelift cars. All euro 4gen have this kind of rear lights In Europe, from a rear view, the only way to recognize a pre-facelift from a post-facelift is looking at the rear wiper (horizontal on 86-87, vertical on 88-89) and the black paint scheme on bottom of the rear bumper. The red one is a post-facelift, yes, but the silver one is a pre-facelift. I suppose it has been repainted with new vinyls.
Yes, I see AT160 with 4A-GE are also marked GT Well I guess it helps to have your collection of sales brochures, there has been so many modifications over the years it's hard to tell sometimes. For Europe, it's simpler. - AT160 w/4A-GE : GT - ST162 w/3S-GE : Pre-facelift : 2.0 GT Post-face lift : 2.0 GT-i 16 As mentioned above, euro 4gen never got side/door vinyls.
