Nick 88 alltrac JDM 3sgte so i found a vaccum line on my intake manifold thats just chillin, un hooked. it comes out on the drivers side. right where the bend in the manifold goes into the head. the little markings on it say # *. Sorry i dont have pics but does anyone know what im talking about?heres my shot at making a diagram.
Well the only 1 I found so far with #* on it is up on the firewall There are als some #* hoses for the cruise control that come off the passenger side of the intake manifold. I'll look again on the drivers side but it pretty full of crap on that side.
Well I have no idea what it is but it looks like it goes to the round thing pointed to by the green arrow. The line you want (#*) is indicated by the green line. The red line is a second line coming from the round thing. Your green line (#*) goes into the bottom connector of the round thing. The round thing is pretty much dirrectly under the distributor. About the diameter of a spray can cap perhaps a little smaller.

Blue/purple thingy is for iirc tvis. There are definatly no other lines on the side of the intake mani. take a look at the pics
you dfont have the 2nd line on your intake heres a pic i took with my phone sorry for the crappy quality.
ya its a jdm motor and it is attached to the intake. Damn this car and its starnge hoses and wires that shouldnt exist.
haha also we need some members from Japan here I think....they could answer these questions for us....
