When I hit my throttle, I get a hesitation before the engine revs. Any takers on why its happening? I have a few ideas, but thought I would let some of you guys in on the fun. Plus I have a really fun intermittent electrical problem with my turn signal. Lots of fun, got a big hammer and my head hurts!

there should be a slight delay, like a 1/4 to 1/2 a sec if you quicky tap the throttel and let it go

Its the 2se and five speed on an 86 st. I have an aftermarket intake and 2-1/4" exhaust all the way back, not cat or resonator.

yeah the 2se probably will have a slight hesitation....and the 3sfe probably shouldn't be THAT bad...

My 3sfe doesn't have any hesitation even with a really dirty TB and needed tune-up as well.

How clean is your air filter?

The throttle body is where your throttle cable connect's to....

TB looks good, could the MAF sensor need cleaning or diagnostics? Also, I have an uneven idle, within 300 RPM. Is that O2 sensor shit?

cause ya mentioned st and sx i assume you're a fellow aussie, the connection from the MAF you can get from supercheap auto.(for the pod filter)
