How bizarre............. Only this morning I was thinking of you and your project and was about to send you a pm for an update and WHALLA, here you are.

Plenty to see obviously and I will get back to it all later but obviously the other lads are impressed.

How's that 'monster' tractor going ??

Nearly road legal no, just a couple things left to do. One of them was the wheels so ive found myself some different ones, got them test fitted today think I may need to space the backs a little. They need a refurb mind but unsure of what colour to go for. Also bought myself a digital dash seen as my temperature gauge im the dash is no longer with us. Well till I decide what to do to rectify.

Apart from all this I need to get down to the MOT station..... which is provisionally booked in for Friday

Pictures as always, I know you love them so.

really what a cool car !

You know what would finish it off? Spray the doorhandles, it makes a HUGE difference. And use white turn signals in your fender, makes the car 10 years younger.

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself

Is the oil cooler a modded ST185 part? How did you get the window trims on?, I see a lot of broken trim clips as usual

Those wheels look fine but maybe 'gunmetal' grey (that might be too much grey ?) and I like that digital gauge and checked out Acewell for more info.
However....... I did notice the discrepancy between the analogue and digital RPM at idle ?

Member Aaron is building a fairly comprehensive gauge at the minute.

Would your car look better with yellow fog lights I don't know ?

Awesome work man!! I say go white on the wheels, it may be extreme but i think it would look awesome!!

strange how after all the major work that was needed a year ago or so,we're now discussing little touches like door handle colours :biggrin

Not going to keep banging on about your achievement Ian,you know this already so lets see.....hmmmm actually door handle coordination in contrast with the bodykit etc isnt a bad shout y'know....yellow fogs for the JDM kinda look but i think the current look keeps it clean...slightly darker wheels ,like a bronze tint, with bodycoloured calipers may be a good look

Any updates? Also what paint did you use to paint your grill?

As it happens there is a bit of an update. Tomorrow will be the maiden voyage :D She is finally Insured, Taxed and passed the MOT. Fingers crossed all will go well.

    Taken long enough hasnt it!

The Paint was just black Acrylic 2 pac paint, its a shame the grill had be painted before as its not as good as I want and was nigh on impossible to smooth out being plastic, so im on the look out for a replacement at some point.
